EARWAX REMOVAL
WHAT IS EARWAX?
Earwax (also called cerumen) is a waxy oil that is produced inside your ear canal to gather and remove dirt, dust and dead skin cells. Earwax slowly makes its way out of the ear on its own. However, there are some cases where the body produces too much earwax and it cannot come out on its own. Pushing swabs into the ear can push the earwax toward the back of the ear canal creating a blockage and preventing sound from getting through.
SYMPTOMS OF IMPACTED EARWAX
Here are a few signs that you may have impacted earwax:

Due to the substantial increase in demand for our services, we are implementing restrictions on the availability of this procedure. We will only be offering earwax removal to:
- patients who are between the ages of 60 to 80 years old and
- patients who treated their hearing loss or tinnitus with devices obtained from one of our four clinic locations.
We kindly request that all other individuals seek assistance with earwax concerns from their primary healthcare provider.
